Students have created outstanding work this year. Students have utilized a plethora of skills ranging from synthesizing information from multiple sources to creating their own inquiry question and finding out more details.
I am proud of the efforts of the students throughout the year. What follows are a few examples of student work.
As part of our Courageous Character Unit one student, Hannah, decided to research more information about a young girl Malala. Malala is a Pakistani who fights for the rights of girls to have the opportunity to go to school. Hannah created a power point because she was interested in learning more about Malala. It was not an assignment; it was created because of pure interest in wanting to learn more about Malala. Student inquiry at its best.
Brian created a presentation for his heritage project utilizing a web based tool called Prezi. He learned how to manipulate the web based program on his own and created a beautiful presentation.
