Blogging Guidelines

The Class Blog is a way for us to share our learning experience.  As part of continuing learning outside the classroom, commenting on posts is a must.  Writing comments is a way to start or continue a conversation. It is IMPORTANT to remember that there are guidelines for blogging .

The Tiger Two Guidelines for Proper Blogging and Commenting

RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY of Blogging

  1. If student work is used, the student work will only be identified with a first name.
  2. Be positive and respective when generating posts or comments.
  3. Comment on topic-make sure your comment makes sense.
  4. For Parents, if commenting please identify yourself as Tommy’s mom, or Anna’s dad (No LAST names).
  5. Please no personal information-for students when commenting use school email address.
  6. Start comments with “Dear” or “To”- Compliment people on their work.
  7. Proofread all comments- use appropriate grammar (No TEXT TALK)
  8. ALL comments and work submitted have to be approved by Mrs. Emerick before included on the blog.

 

Remember when creating a post or comment you want to put forth your best effort- the work you produce is a representation of you.
